"Good choice for a stay in Saas Fee"

Cosy and comfortable hotel with a homely atmosphere at a very convenient location: easy access to the ski slopes and shopping streets of Saas Fee.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers excellent food at reasonable prices.

"Friendly staff, great food, well situated and good rooms"

Just back from a great week in this hotel. We both loved every minute.

The staff were friendly with good English.

The dinner each night was excellent with 4 courses, different each day (one of which was a salad from the buffet).

Breakfast was good with the usual cereals, yoghurt, cheese, meats, breads....and a bath of boiling water so you could boil your own eggs.

The staff also provided bread so you could make up your own sandwiches that they would wrap and put in a packed lunch bag for you with fruit and a chocolate.

The hotel is located close to two of the main lifts in the village which give access to some amazing walks of a range of standards. The other lift is a 10 minute walk away.

Saas Fee is a beautiful village with a lot of nice bars and restaurants...but the quality of the food and service at the Bristol meant that we didn't need to go anywhere else.

The room had a great view of the mountains and a balcony on which you could sit and unwind. All in all a superb hotel that I would heartily recommend.

"Super stay!"

We visited for one week at the beginning of September.

Although it was our sixth visit to Saas Fee this was our first stay at the Bristol.

The Bristol is located near the end of the village and offers unbroken views of the mountains and glaciers.

We were greeted warmly, the room was clean and tidy.

Our view from the balcony was breathtaking. The food was all perfectly cooked and very good, and service was very friendly and professional.

All in all a very enjoyable week at the Bristol. We will return to Saas Fee again, and will stay at the Bristol again for sure. Thank you to all the family and staff!

"1 Week stay at Bristol"

This is my second time to Hotel Bristol at SaasFee.

I was fully satisfied from my stay, I was here 3 years ago with my family.

This time i came back for a ski holiday with my wife.

It was an amazing experience I would say mainly because of the very warm pleasant hospitality by the lovely family and the food is just splendid!!.

Bristol is a Ski in hotel.

This year we really liked the new standing escalator which saves you the burden of walking up hill to bristol.

“Excellent friendly hotel”

The staff here are very friendly and helpful.
Our room was well furnished with plenty of wardrobe space
and had a balcony with a wonderful view of the mountains and river.
The hotel is in a quieter part of Saas Fee, well placed for starting numerous walks.
For walks in the Saas Grund area, the bus station (near the car park) is only at most a ten minute walk away.
The food is excellent with plenty of choice at breakfast and imaginative evening menus.
The evening meals are beautifully presented. This was our second very enjoyable stay here.

“Fantastic Hotel, Fantastic Staff”

If you are going to Saas Fee, book a room at the Bristol Hotel.
I travel a lot with my work, and there are very few hotels I enjoy staying in.
The Bristol is one of them.
The staff here go far beyond what is expected to make your stay enjoyable,
and the rooms are the best positioned in Saas Fee.
The view is magnificent. I look forward to coming back here at Christmas.

“Perfect location with fantastic friendly staff”

I've spent many years skiing in different resorts and this year I visited Saas Fee and stayed at Hotel Bristol.
This hotel has the perfect location and much more.
The hotel is right on the piste so you literally can ski in and out as well
as having some of the most friendliest staff I have come across.
All the staff members where very attentive.
The breakfast in the morning is a range of buffet style food from cereals, eggs and meat
and a wide selection of delicious cheese which set us up for a great day of skiing.
Our room at the front of the hotel had the most fantastic view of the mountains and glacier
which gave us sun all day long.
We were picked up and dropped off to our car by the hotel
making it a very easy journey to transport our luggage.
We will visit Saas Fee this summer for some mountain hikes and dog walks.
The hotel also allows dogs and are very dog friendly so this summer we will be taking our little pup with us.
We look forward to returning to this beautiful family run hotel in August.

„great family experience”

We just spent 3 nights at the hotel. 2 adults and 1 child.
The hotel is cozy and family run.
They made us feel completely at home.
The room was spacious enough to handle the entire family
and they have a wall of boot driers so you have warm dry boots in the morning.
The breakfast was very tasty, and their dinner is fantastic.
Their location in town is great for a family- our child could ski on the beginner run by herself
and then ski right back to the hotel and in the morning it is a short walk to either the t-bar or gondola-
our child could walk the entire way by herself.
upon arrival the hotel staff went and found a gluten free loaf of bread from a baker in town
just for our daughter with no advance warning.
We are on an extended trip in Switzerland and will be staying in about 7 hotels across the country.
We hope that all of them are like this one.
This certainly has been the highlight of our trip so far.

We are an active couple and stayed at Hotel Bristol
for one week in July for a leisurely summer walking and exploring holiday.
Hotel Bristol is located at the far end of Saas Fee village, 5 minutes walk from the village centre
and 10 minutes walk from bus station / car park.
Hotel picks guests up on arrival and transport them and luggage by electric taxi to the hotel.
In our opinion the location is ideal as all village facilities are within easy reach
(including 5 different cable cars) and from the balcony of all the bedrooms
there is a superb uninterrupted view across farm meadows and
a mountain stream to the Allalin mountain range and glaciers.
Our double bedroom was very comfortable and nicely decorated.
There was a key operated safe in the wardrobe.
Ample storage was provided plus shelving and a small writing desk area.
There was a smart bathroom/ shower area.
Separate from the bathroom was the WC. Our spacious balcony had superb views.
Public rooms comprised reception area, a lovely restaurant,
a beautiful terrace and a separate smoker bar.
Free internet access in the hotel.
The hotel is small (about 20 rooms) and intimate.
Owned and run by the Bumann-Mathieu family, all staff was very friendly and helpful.
We were on a half board arrangement including breakfast.
The set dinner was certainly a highlight of our day,
four courses of beautifully prepared food
and a wide variety of dishes throughout our stay, all of excellent quality.
We loved Saas Fee and the Hotel Bristol.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights (3rd to 8th Dec 2012).
It is perfectly located for the ski lift and I thoroughly recommend it.
The owners are very friendly, the rooms are comfortable
with great views from the balcony and the hotel dog is very cute.
The breakfast buffet was very good. There is free Wi-Fi in the hotel.
The village is beautiful and I would have no hesitation to returning in this hotel.

The Hotel Bristol is a fantastic family run hotel
which is situated at the foot of the mountains with fast access to lifts and slopes.
The room was very clean, tidy, well equipped and amazing views of the mountains.
We booked bed and breakfast which was continental style self service.
We were always warmly received in the hotel restaurant and the food being excellent.
I can recommend the Chateaubriand it’s delicious.
The town is idyllic as there are no cars allowed so it’s a great safe place for the whole family.
See you again!!

Just got back from an 11nts stay at this hotel, and can’t find anything negative about it.
We had a lovely room on the second floor and the views where fantastic,
nothing to spoil your view of the glacier and the surrounding mountains.
Also all the cable cars and post bus where free which is a very good savings.
The food was really good even if there was not a choice of half-board menu but if you told them
in the morning that something on the menu was not to your liking
they would go out of their way to give you an alternative.
This is a very friendly hotel and they make you very welcome,
there was a lovely family feeling with their little girl playing around the hotel and family pets.
It’s very well positioned for the cable cars and very quite at night.
It’s a very good hotel good rooms good food and great staff.

I spent a week with my whole family in the Hotel Bristol and I would certainly recommend it.
The rooms are clean, comfortable and they have an amazing view from the balcony.
The food is great and there's plenty of it. Service is excellent and very friendly.
It's a real family hotel, with a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. Makes you feel right at home!

Hotel Bristol is in one word excellent.
The people make you feel right at home and it s location is one of the best if not the best in Saas Fee.
We went there before only for drinking and eating and it was the first time we stayed as guests but it was fantastic
and we will go there again next year instead of booking a hotel.
I can recommend it to everybody who wants to enjoy life.

We have recently returned from a week's holiday at the Bristol.
It was excellent for a 3-star hotel with a good sized bedroom having a fabulous view from the balcony,
looking over river and hay fields to the glacier and snow capped mountains.
Similar views from the terrace and dining room. All was very clean, very friendly and competent staff.
Excellent buffet style breakfast and 4-course dinner.
Dessert could be swapped for coffee/tea which was appreciated.
Excellent holiday!

Had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel during my summer holidays.
I came to Saas Fee to get away from a stressful everyday life and find time to relax.
The Hotel Bristol turned out to be an exquisite choice for such a purpose.
It is perfectly located in the midst of all the Swiss beauty and the service I received at the hotel was impeccable.
The Bümani family and their staff is doing one fantastic job to make their guests' stay enjoyable :)

Great hotel, very friendly staff. The most convenient hotel in Saas Fee for access to the slopes,
but also for proximity to après ski, restaurants, shops, etc.
rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained.
Staff goes out of their way to help in every way they can. Highly recommended.

The family run hotel was was clean, friendly and had a good restaurant with an excellent breakfast as well as dinner.
We emailed to ask directions to the hotel and mentioned possible time of arrival.
It was wonderful after a long trip that the owner was there to meet us with the hotel electric van.
The summer lift pass was an unexpected bonus.

A conseiller vivement. Nous y reviendrons sans hésitation.
Vivement les prochaines vacances !
